We had lots of great discussion during our meeting. The "rescue" of Lay Me Down was heartfelt and bittersweet. Susan Richards journey of healing from her unthinkable childhood was at times funny and heartbreaking. We thought she wrote with depth and feeling without being overly dramatic.
