My Reviews
I loved this book. It was written in letters which is a style I had never read before and was truthfully a little skeptical of, but it was wonderful. How the characters were developed and the ingenuity was refreshing. Historically informative also.
I loved it. Such a beautiful story of a heartbreaking time in our history.
An exceptional book. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The issues and how they were raised and the self awareness that ensued were very well developed.
I just couldn't get into it...and although there were a few of us that felt this way, there were some that liked it.
The book is inspiring and overwhelmingly sad at the same time. I couldn't keep myself from crying. Let me just say that the story made me realize that I really have nothing to complain about and had me questioning my own bravery and cowardness at the same time.
What a great read !! Another book that illuminates the brave people that were part of this war and the unspeakable horror associated with it. I couldn't put it down...again, great read !
A beautiful, if heartbreaking, novel. This story is fiction, but based on true events regarding trafficking children. It was a page turner. I highly recommend this book.
I find it an insulting book...trashing the current presidential administration...what a waste of my time.
An interesting book about two people who cannot let go of the past and it ends up defining them. They were thrown out of their home by the wicked stepmother. A good read.
Loved this book. Just when you think everything is right with the world, along comes this......
Ha a little of everything...romance, coming of age, murder, nature...a good read. Highly recommend it.
I loved this book. It was just so inspiring to see how she adapted and how she provided a much needed service.
