This book has won a big literary award and may win more, but it\\\'s not an easy read. In fact, I\\\'m still working on it - and, often, it does feel like work. The set-up is brilliant. However, the first half of the book is devoted to providing perspectives from 12 men - yes, all men - which makes for a very slow start to a very long book. The book started catching my interest about 60% of the way into it, according to my Kindle. A friend of a friend knows the author and, clearly, some of what she\\\'s doing will be lost on many readers (e.g., the connections to astrology). Give it a try, but make notes about the connections between the twelve men and the three people each is connected to. Cheers.
