Telex from Cuba: A Novel by Rachel Kushner
Book Club Recommended
Informative, Poorly Written, Confusing
Telex From CubaThe book gives an insightful look at Cuba pre-Castro. One will find an examination of capitalism, politics and culture through the experiences of the characters. There is some confusion as the writer moves from character to character in the development of the plot. Overall, however, this was a really good book to have read and I do recommend it.
