Couldn't put the book down. Dan Browns' best! I often felt like I was running along with Robert Langdon.
This book is an historic non-fiction descriptive book about a family living in Warsaw during the Nazi domination of WWII. The book read like a monograph that a college student was directed to read for a class. Often the writing jumped around from one year to another year and back again. The overbearing descritive nature of the writing left me stuck in the middle of the book without finishing it.
Very violent story. The search for the missing, and presumed dead, girl was interesting and fast paced.
A real love story. Emphasis that there are 2 sides to a relationship. Real communication in a relationship is the key to success.
