Wasn't impressed by writing, plot seemed contrived. I finished it but was bored.

Actually liked the movie better

I read this book and then saw the movie. I never say this but I actually liked the movie better. The main character in the book came across very whiny. I didn't like her character in the book - but I did in the movie.
