Hard to get into because of the horrific subject. Once you do,it is wryly ( and darkly) funny,well-crafted and inspiring. I t generated a lot of discussion, everyone was moved by this book.

Sarah's Key is not an easy read because of the subject. It will, however stay with you for a long time, it's beautifully written and ultimately courageous and inspiring on several levels.
