Interesting concepts, but it just didn't hold my interest.

I wasn't sure what to make of this book when I first started it, but soon enough I was hooked and wondering what would happen next. Once hooked, I couldn't put it down. So many of the things that happened were laugh out loud funny. The characters were complex and mischievous. I loved the creative, original and fresh descriptions that were found throughout the book. There were plenty of twists and the end was not predictable. I look forward to the sequel as well. I would recommend reading this book to others who like Huckleberry Finn/Tom Sawyer and those looking for something a bit out of the ordinary.
