My Reviews
Love in the Time of Cholera (Penguin Great Books of the 20th Century) by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
Slow, Difficult, Romantic
Didn't like it at allThe style this book is written in didn't hold my interest.
Gods in Alabama by Joshilyn Jackson
Dramatic, Fun, Dark
Interesting, a bite of a mystery also a Great Book to DiscussI was quite interested in finding out if Arlene pact with God really work or if someone else had killed Jim Beverly.
Over all this book was an easy read. The author made it easy to keep up with the characters in the book.
A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini
Informative, Dramatic, Insightful
This book has great character developmentHosseini's writing style gives the reader crisp imagery. I could literally see the events in my mind, as I read the story. This book moves at just the right pace and is definitely hard to put down.
