My Reviews
The story was OK. The characters just weren't that interesting. I did go on and read the second book: A Thread of Truth and that was a little better.
Liz Gilbert is an excellent stoy teller. I love listing to her tell her story.
Loved all the fun characters.
I liked the recipes at the end of the book. Maybe I should have read the 1st book in the series first because I just couldn't get into these characters. I found it boring.
This book really healed my interested.
Fast easy read.
Too depressing
There was not much to this book. Very light. I would have liked more of a mystery. I'm giving the author another try by reading the next book in the series. I did enjoy the recipes at the end of the book.
Not the author's best, for sure.
This movie is ok. It left you looking for more. The movie did not do the books justice. I did not laugh like I did while reading the book, Stephanie is just to well dressed. From the books I'm a Ranger fan but from the movie I'm Morelli fan now. Thought we saw all of the funny parts from the movie trailers. Loved the last scene where she takes Morelli to the police station.
If you have not read the other books in the series this one is not worth reading. It was very hard to follow and had a ridiculous plot. There are too many characters with very small parts.
Loved all the interesting characters.
I did not enjoy this book at all. I had a hard time getting thought it. It will be interesting to see how everyone in book club liked it.
If it had not been for book club I would never have finished it.
This book opened my mind to what happened to people in Russia.
Fun easy read. I enjoyed all the characters. I would love to have a Gloria and Miriam in my life.
boring as can be. I was hoping for cute dog stories. but mostly it is about how she has multiple dogs at one time. She buys them from pet store and even auction them off and gives dogs as gifts. I don\'t agree with this.
Dull & tedious. I was frustrated with the style of writing. There’s no action. It’s all conversation. I wanted it to be over. It\'s a whodunit involving a private eye. there is a long exposition at the end of the how and why.
Good story. My whole family read it.
Interesting characters. Pleasant read.
It was a little slow in the beginning. A lot of characters to keep track of. But I truly enjoyed this book.
I couldn\\\'t finish this book. I hated it. I did skip ahead and read the end. Too sad.
Fun fast read
the book is in two parts the 1930's and the 1980's I only liked the 1930's the 1980's could have been skipped.
I had a hard time remembering who was who. Mort or Abe, Rose or Helen
Not much of a story.
