One of the few books I will definitely read again.
I didn't think the circus could be so interesting!
It's hard to put down!
I have a grandfather with Alzheimer's and I'll never think of it the same after reading this book. Loved it!
Love that it is written in letters by the characters, makes for a good read. Great insight.
I loved reading this book, gives insight into a terrifying disease.
I didn't particularly enjoy this book although I was told it was fantastic and started out liking it and then it just for me became too hard to fathom. This may make me close minded but I have a different look out on faith so for me it just didn't make sense.
Not knowing much about the 9th century it was interesting to read a book based in that era. And makes me want to read more about the medieval times. I could not put this book down!
