Fun, Informative, Interesting
Funny, unpretentious, thought-provoking. A very good read! The City of Falling Angels by John Berendt
Insightful, Interesting, Slow
Very good, after a VERY slow start.I eventually so enjoyed this book. However, I had to be very patient. The first 100 pages or more were slow, almost pointless. I finally couldn't put the book down, but I did feel that it took way too long to get there. In the end, I am happy to have read it and felt that I learned quite a lot about strange and intriguing Venice. Now, I want to go back for another visit, with different eyes.
The Forgotten Garden: A Novel by Kate Morton

Dramatic, Interesting, Adventurous
Very atmospheric, eerie, thought provoking...I so enjoyed much of The Forgotten Garden. We had a lively discussion about the moral issues brought up in the book at our book club. Morton's writing is very beautiful and perhaps it was her style I enjoyed most.
