Having read Seabiscuit by Laura Hillenbrand, I knew that she would bring depth and weave a story within the story, however I blown away with the telling of the attrocities of the Japanese prisoner of war camps and the britality that they endured. It's a compelling work, impossible to imagine how anyone could survive.
