My Reviews
One of Larson's best. Well researched and great story composition. Although long, it is difficult to put down so reads easily and quickly.
This is one of Erik Larson's best books. It is an informative as I expect a non-fiction book to be. Yet the writing style, character development and back stories make it so wonderfully readable. Some club members had difficulty getting through the first 4 chapters but with a small amount of info about what was to come, they read with vigor to get to the remaining chapters
This book is a great companion to "Heart of Christianity" It would be great for those wanting more information or discussion ideas for the book "heart of Christianity" by Marcus Borg
Clearly a book advocating Christianity, I would recommend this companion only for groups wanting to study Christianity. For those groups, it would be an excellent choice.
A very informative book, inspired reading non-fiction about the topic of international adoption and assimilation of immigrent families in the USA.
I enjoyed the book a great deal and recommend it to others
This book immediately captured me. I read it in 2 days, could not put it down. I consider this the best of Rachel Simon's books. The discription is so real it was difficult to remember it was fiction. I recommend it to everyone
