My Reviews
Good story line, but continued graphic descriptions of abuse were overused and not necessary. Thought the ending felt unfinished.
The book was interesting although I was hoping that the characters would somehow intertwine and come together somehow at the end of the book. Too many stories leaving you hanging and wanting to know more.
Very educational info on Alzheimer's and helped me to understand the disease and its progression. I liked that it was written from the disease sufferer's viewpoint. Well written.
Interesting subject matter. Writing style from child's perspective could have been offset by mother's point of view. Read it quickly because I did want to find out what happened. Finished it without really loving it or hating it. Was definitely not one of my favorite books. Wouldn't necessarily recommend it for a book club pick. Too many other good books out there.
