My Reviews
Lead character is very likeable and his life experiences steer his choices in the book. A child is abducted, a pedophile is killed by the victims family and outside forces are trying to make the good guy lawyer (WHAT?) into a puppet on a string...and then the unexpected begins!
Michael Connelly's books are addictive and 9 Dragons didn't fail to deliver. The characters are real people in incredible situations and you just like them. Our book club has picked up several of his books and have enjoyed them all.
High tech serial murderer vs. well known reporter with FBI girlfriend. Moved quickly-another solid read from Michael Connelly.
Joe Picket is a friend I'd like to have (and Nate too)! A modern tough-guy cowboy tale. Good guys vs. Bad guys, gunslinging and a crazy mother in law. What's not to like?
This is the best thing to come out of New Jersey. Ceepak and Danny are a great team. Mystery with humor and well developed characters. I love the way Chris Grabenstein writes.
Tough subject matter-sex trade & children-but alot to talk about-Although not the usual Anna Pigeon story.
Combines Irish fairy tales and a modern day murder mystery-we found the history and old tales interesting.
Very interesting read! From the opening to the end it kept me interested.
Danny Goodman gets sucked into espionage/drama by accident. Quick thinking required to get out of his troubles.
Don't be fooled by the dystopian themes, it's really more similar to "The Martian"-with characters figuring out things-started a little confusing, but events begin unfolding and the story picks up and moves quickly.
