Our club thought he stuck to his primary formula that he used for DaVinci Code and Angels & Demons, but we agreed if it works then why not. We are located in the Washington, DC area which definitely made the story more interesting. Downfall - felt that the book dragged on a little bit at the end and could have stopped about 50 pages sooner.

Great book told from the dog's point of view... you may never look at your dog the same way again.

Very romantic - wonderful love story although you must pay CLOSE attention because there are constant time shifts all the way through the book. I was able to follow it, but definitely had to concentrate harder than when I have read other books. Worthwhile, also saw the film - it was decent considering time limitations...

If you are a Jodi Picoult fan, you will love this book. Love the murder mystery aspect.

Excellent writing. Lisa Genova is a knowledgeable skillful writer on matters of the brain plus she keeps her characters interesting and is always concise and to the point. Her books do not drag on and on. Very easy to read. Would recommend this book to anyone whether they are dealing with Alzheimer's in their family or not.
