I loved this book for the writing - but I had to continually remind myself it was historical FICTION. I had to check my bible and other sources for accuracy. But as a fun read, it was enticing.

All I can say is...Joseph? Really?

I loved this book the first time I read it, but it can be a difficult read with all the vocabulary and dialect. The book club meeting was fun though - because books should always create a reaction, and this one CERTAINLY did!

It was amazing to read about such a difficult topic from a child's point of view. Couldn't put this book down - I read it in a day.
