The Secret Scripture

This book is a wonderful marriage between a wonderful story and the beautiful language of lyrical prose. Don't put it down if you don't get into it right away. It gets addictive toward the middle.

The point of view is what makes this book! It's a difficult subject matter that leaves lots of inference with the reader to fill in the details. It's a quick read that you won't be able to put down. It was one our book club's favorites so far.
