We all liked the book and the letter format. It was eye opening to see how close the Germans came to Britain in WW2. The characters were wonderful and down to earth.

The Lotus Eaters: A Novel

The book was not a page turner but it was very riveting at times. The story was nicely written and full of details about life in Vietnam during the war. The characters were well drawn and fascinating.
