My Reviews
We decided to start with this as our first book club selection since it's been on the Best Seller List forever and "everybody" has read it.
The book was good, but not outstanding. It was slow at the beginning and a little hard to get into. Towards the middle, it finally picked up and became very addicting! The outcome of the book was somewhat expected, but the details surrounding the mystery and the true lives of Harriet's family were dark and suprising.
All in all, the book was worth while reading, but it wasn't up to my expectations.
Overall, very interesting and an easy read. I really enjoyed learning about the history of early television and Betty White's experiences in the business.
