My Reviews
This book is thought-provoking--makes one look at family life through different eyes.
I found this book quite moving. It deals with a difficult time (WWII) and a difficult decision made by a little girl. This decision eventually send shock-waves through the lives of many of the characters. It was a good story, well-written.
"Look Again" deals with an adoptive parent's worst nightmare. Truly a thought-provoking story.
As a former Recreation Therapist in a nursing home, I found this book to be true-to-life. It gives an insider's view of this dreaded disease and reminds us that the person within always remains, even though he/she is no longer part of our reality.
I've been reading Lisa Scottoline's series as they arrive on the scene. Plots are engaging, writing is good, characters are fun to follow.
