My Reviews
The book was interesting because I learned about various religions while recognizing that each religion came back to "The Golden Rule".
I think this book makes you aware of religious viewpoints that you have not thought about before. I also liked that the narrator wasn't afraid to say feelings that a "normal" person may feel such as feeling intimidated by your rabbi, or priest, or pastor.
This book is very insightful, however although you are inspired by the main character, you also feel disappointed by the way he ignores his wife.
Kathy writes a laugh out loud read. She is very optimistic in real life although she plays very sarcastic or harsh in her comedy shows. She is brave and takes a hard stance on opening up about her brother whom is a pedophile. I commend her for this and how she reacted.
