It was an easy read. Since we live in an area of the "Old West" where prostitution was prominent up until the 1980's, this book had personal significance. It was sad to read about their limited lives, especially the girls from China. We all agreed that we are glad we were born into a better era where women have more choices and are not so used and abused.
