Gives more info on how to refute islam than accurate, complete information about it.
Back and forth between stories/time frames was a bit clumsy but it gives the reader a riveting idea of the difficulties of this life style.
Required reading in many Florida schools, this book chronicles a family in Florida from the 1800's forward, focusing mainly on early Florida. It is a wonderful novel with believable characters and description of life in this frontier land.
One of the must read books of the year. It starts slow with quite a bit of academic information but becomes a quicker read as various patients stories are told.
I could not put it down. It is not like many of her other books - I think it is the best she has ever written. The characters draw you in and you feel their pain and there difficulties. You get a true feel for like in occupied France during the war.
This book received a lot of hype which it did not live up to. It was boring
The writing draws you in and the plot is subtle and surprising.
