My Reviews
I liked this book very much although it did seem to go a little soap opera at the end. I guess I wished for better things for some of the characters. Beautifully written though and touches on a very important issue.
I absolutely love every book of poetry I have ever read of Tony Hoagland's. His is funny, insightful and just brilliant.
Vonnegut is brilliant all of the time, but this book in particular because it touches on his reality.
I have read this book several times and each time I become more connected to the characters. It's a disturbing story, but the moral of acceptance of ourselves is fascinating and very well written. I think this book is particularly good as a discussion book.
This is a lovely book that has some mystery to it as well. It sounds like the graphic nature of it would be a turn off, but it is actually quite beautiful to read. Great discussion book.
I had a great time reading this book and think Greg Maguire is an interesting author. I'm not positive how much discussion could come from it, but it's definitely worth the read.
This was a fun read and very interesting. I thought it was going to be more on the biology of Rats, but it ended up being more a history of Rats within cities. Fascinating stuff and well written. It's also impressive the lengths the author went to for his research.
I read this a long time ago and really enjoyed it, but remember nothing.
I loved this horror twist on the academic lifestyle. Hynes is a great author who has a lot of fun poking fun at those with high IQ's and low EQ's.
I really enjoyed this book. Easy to read and the main character is easy for anyone to identify with.
