The Girls from Ames: A Story of Women and a Forty-Year Friendship by Jeffrey Zaslow
Slow, Interesting, Boring
The Girls From AmesDon't waste your time reading this book. I think these women have a remarkable friendship, but the book does a poor job of showcasing it. It was desperate; trying to create drama where there was none. The writing was simplistic at best, and at times it felt as if the story was dragged out to meet a required word count. I hated reading it.
