Informative, Interesting, Fun
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie SocietyThis is one of my favorite books in the last couple of years. I read the book and then listened to it on CD and both were very enjoyable experiences. I loved it because of the history portrayed and the book's portrayal of human healing through friendship and reading.

The PassageIt may be about an apocalypse caused by government experiment gone very wrong producing monster vampires but the vampires are only the outward threat. This book is really about humanity meeting challenges--unimaginable challenges. And then there is this little girl that we as readers can see her potential to save humanity but how?
