My Reviews
This book was very well written. I particularly enjoyed the poem written by the little girl, although it was hard to believe that, in real life, she would have been able to compose this poem, given the vocabulary used. I did have a problem with the emphasis on miracles throughout the book, but the characters were by and large believably written & the story was always interesting & not predictable.
This book is very well written. The author creates a story that makes the reader want to get to the end to find out the answer to the mystery. Unfortunately, there is really only one major item for discussion - did Rachel kill Ambrose or not? This obviously leads to problems for a discussion group. While I recommend the book for individual readers, I don't rally recommend it for a discussion group.
