I didn't know shale could be so important... or interesting! But Seamus McGraw makes it very interesting in this book that follows his own personal quest to learn more about Marcellus Shale, the natural gas trapped inside it, the people who want to get that gas, and most importantly, the real people who live on the land that the gas companies are falling over themselves to lease.
For those of us who live on top of the Marcellus Shale, this book is a must-read. In his quest for understanding of the issues involved, the reader gets objective, unbiased, useable information. It is fantastically easy to read, endlessly intriguing, and remarkably personal. McGraw's is a name we'll be hearing a lot of in future years. Read it!
