Loved the chapter on Italy, but India and Indonesia were boring! Had to force myself to keep going, and skimmed most of it. Overall, disappointing!
Thought the book was fantastic, and it held my interest throughout. Didn't necessarily care for the ending though. It felt like it belonged to a different book. All in all, it was fantastic!
I thought the book was a slow starter. There were so many characters and details to follow that at times it was confusing. The middle was very good, but the end dragged on and was finally somewhat disappointing. All in all, it was okay, but not deserving of a 5-star rating.
Slow start, but ended up loving it!
This book came highly recommended to me, so I thought I would love it. Unfortunately, I didn't. Parts of it were interesting, but most of our book club didn't even finish it because they just didn't like it. It was just okay.
