My Reviews
Did not enjoy this book. I found it boring, so it was hard to finish.
Once I got into this book, I couldn't put it down! I think the ending could have been developed a little more, but overall, a great book!
I had higher hopes for this book when I read the first few pages. However, after the initial 'incident' the book moved rather slow. It picked up a bit about 2/3 of the way through, and the end was predictable. Secondary characters became difficult to remember. An average read.
My favorite book of all time!
I don't understand the fasincation with this book. It was very slow, very dark and plodded on forever. I found this book a chore to read.
Wonderful book. I was hooked on page one and couldn't put it down!
The author took the 'scenic' route a lot, so the book was slow to read. Good story, but seemed to end abruptly.
Fast, easy read. Perfect for summertime.
Wonderful book! I couldn't put it down. My only thought is that the end/final chapter seemed so abrupt. The author went into so much detail through the whole story, but there was very little of that in the last chapter. It was a great book, but I felt a little 'jipped' by the ending. I wanted to read more about these characters and what happened to them.
Great book!
Wonderful book! Could not put it down. Each chapter is told from a different character's perspective, so that took a little getting used to. Highly recommend!
Fantastic book. Very interesting perspective with 'Death' as the narrator. Couldn't put it down.
I'd give it 2.5 stars.
The book was only okay. It was simply stories about the author's grandmother, who died when the author was a little girl, so the stories were embellished. Many families have stories passed down about their ancestors, someone who did wonderful things, but more often than not, those stories are most exciting and important only to that family. My opinion is that this is one of those books.
Fantastic book! One of the best I've ever read!
Could not put this book down! Fantastic!
As soon as I had finished reading 'Hunger Games' I had to start this one. It's just as addictive as the first! I couldn't stop reading.
