My Reviews
I decided to read this book because it was book of the month for January. I was worried I wouldn't like it because I didn't know much on the vietnam war, but that wasn't the case. It was awesome, so glad I went out of my book norm and read this.
The story was told through through the prospective of a 5 year old boy. The beginning seemed longer than it needed to be and sort of boring. The middle got interesting and then towards the end it was quite interesting to see the world though the boys eyes. If you are in to psychology, then you will probably really like this book. I think that it would be great for discussion.
A great read!
Read it so our book club could see the movie afterwards to compare, it was good, but not great.
And they keep getting better!!! I am almost done with the third and I've only been reading for 2 weeks.
