Catcher in the Rye

This had to be the worst book I've ever read. Wouldn't have wasted my time but wondered what made it a classic 50 years ago. Surely there were better books to pick from to have labeled it as such.

Brilliant, Insightful, Inspiring

To Kill a Mockingbird

This book is a true example of what makes a classic a classic. What a perfect example of what life was like in that day with so much prejudice and hatred. No doubt we need to still change more, but we have come a long way since that time period. Watched the movie as well and enjoyed it.
