Starts out slow but after about 80 pages, the book starts to move. There are several characters. We discovered each member of the club had their own favorite characters for different reasons. Each of us also learned at least one historical fact that we did not know prior to reading the book. The discussion questions made for a lively book club meeting. Looking forward for the next book in the series.

This book is well written and one that is hard to put down. You want to keep reading to find out what happens next.
