I could not put this book down.. I loved every minute of this book.
This book showed the trials and tribulations of a friendship that expands over 30 years. It was in touch with the connections that women make and how they bond and love. I enjoyed this book to the end. I warn you it is a tear jerker.
This book was slow to start...once it got going the pace was fine but it is just not believable. It was hard to connect with the characters and the plot left a lot to be desired. It’s entertaining just do not look believe all of the hype that surrounds it
The Reversal was a quick read that leads the reader on a venture in search of justice. The questions at hand are “is there evidence to support the originally conviction and is the evidence strong enough to obtain a new one”. Michael Connelly does a first-rate job of pulling the reader into the storyline and provides plenty of background information to keep the reader engaged and guessing. This is a quick read that will not disappoint and did not require that the earlier books in the series had been read to enjoy this author’s latest addition to his collection.
Freedom comes highly recommended however for me it didn’t live up to the hype. I found this book to be boring. Reading is meant to be an enjoyable experience but getting through this book was painful. None of the book club members enjoyed it. I would not recommend this book. The characters were not likable and the overall plot was not interesting. Pass on this one
This book was a delight. It took you on a journey through life that was captivating from start to finish. At first glance I thought that the last thing I wanted to do was read about a circus. I was so wrong. This story will bring a smile to your face.
Winter Garden is a book that I could read over and over again. it is beautifully told and goes right to the heart of relationships. I absolutely loved this book.
The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks was long over due. It is provides a great deal of information that everyone should have. If you think that this something that can happen to someone else think again... this could have been anyone of us. Its worth taking the time to read. It makes for a great book club review
This was a book that allowed you to get caught up in the moment. I really enjoyed reading it! The entire group did. Connelly didnt disappoint
The Authors don't disappoint in Now you see her. It is a quick beach read that you will be glad you took the time to read. It keeps you thinking ahead and wondering how they will ever wrap everything up ; which they do nicely. You'll never know what hit you.
I couldn't put this book down!!! It was very well written and had me from the first page. Before I Go To Sleep : A Novel by S. J. Watson is more than a Summer Beach read, its a curl up on the couch on a cold winter day read, a 3 hour plane ride read and a cant wait to read it again read. This book is all of that and a bag of chips. S.J Watson grabs you on the first page and will have you thinking about it long after you finish it.
This was the best of the three installments for Tami's latest series! Loved it. You dont need to have read the other books in the series to pick this book up. The others are good but this is a home-run. The reviews in our book club were mixed since it centers around children it maybe hard for some to read.Don't miss this ride
