This book gives me a look at into the life of a women trapped in a violent/abusive marriage and the fact that THAT could have been me. She wasn't fully engrossed in Battered Women's Syndrome as she fought to get out and confront how she got into that marriage in the first place. Confronting her abusive father and ultimately her mother. She learns that Courage is in us all!
