My Reviews
I liked this book. I liked the characters. It gave me an insight into the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II.
This book was interesting but also sad. Mary Sutter had to endure many trials and tribulations but I admired her for being strong and determined.
I really liked this book. It gave a realistic insight into what members of the military experience when they are wounded and the challenges they face. It also shows how their experience impacts their family relationships.
I feel this book gave me an insight into what went on at the home front when our soldiers were fighting World War II.
I loved this book! It shows what can be done when one person reaches out to make a difference in another person\\\'s life.
While I like the book, some members of my book club did not. They found the book hard to get into. I found that the book started off slow but got interesting as you read on.
I liked this book. I thought it was funny but also sad. I liked reading about the WASPS; and I liked at the end when Sookie met Fritzi and her aunts.
I liked this book and I found the story & characters interesting. I liked the ending.
I really enjoyed this book. I found the story interesting, inspiring and romantic.
I REALLY ENJOYED THIS BOOK. I LOVED THE CHARACTERS AND THE STORY OF RUSSELL BAKER\'S LIFE.
This book was interesting, but sad; for Isabel and her husband Tom but also for Hannah. It really makes you wonder if someone was faced with the same situation of finding a baby-would they keep it to raise as their own? I liked the ending when Lucy went to see Tom.
I LOVED THIS BOOK! IT WAS THE FIRST ONE I READ BY THIS AUTHOR. I LOVED THE STORY AND THE CHARACTERS.
I liked this book; it took me a while to get into it, but then I really got interested in the story. I couldn\'t wait to read about the trip. It really makes you wonder what you would do if you were a quadriplegic; would you want to end your life?
I thought this book was too long, had too many characters and that the story didn\\\'t flow.
I liked this book. At first I thought it started out slow, but as I continued it got more interesting. I thought it was quite a life change for Rebecca to go from living in Manhattan to the country. In the end, I was glad that Rebecca gave Jim a second chance (athough I thought in real life most men his age would not get romantically involved with someone her age)
I really like this book; I was happy at the ending for Charlie when she made second place in the dance competition and also that her father and her siste saw her dance.
I thought the book was boring and slow. It was a struggle to read it to the end.
I liked this book. It was a good summer book selection - not too serious but interesting.
I liked this book. I have read the other 2 Cobbled Court Quilt Books so I was familiar with the characters. I must say, I was happy that Evelyn Finally married Charlie! I was disappointed Liza and Garrett did not marry; but, who knows, maybe down the road that will happen.
I really loved this book. I like the characters Starla, Lula and Miss Cyrena. It gave some insight to the racial tensions in the 1960's. I felt sorry for Starla when she met her mother; she was disappointed, but I must say her father really stepped up to the plate and was a real father to her.
I liked this book. I thought it was adventurous and also had a sense of mystery.
I REALLY LIKE THIS BOOK; IT WAS VERY INFORMATIVE ABOUT IRISH HISTORY
(Some members of my book club thought it was too long)
I LIKED THE BOOK; I THOUGHT IT STARTED OUT SLOW BUT IT PICKED UP LATER. I LIKED THE ENDING (THE REUNION)
I thought the book was interesting and very informative; the boys really worked so hard to win the race.
