A Girls War: A Childhood Lost In Britain's WWII EvacuationIn the beginning of the book she kept going back to her adult and her child lives, so it made it a bit confusing and hard to read, sometimes. But, once you get past the first few chapters it became easier to read. Doreen's story of a Girls War is very detailed account of her experience of her WWII evacuation, of how scared and confused a child can get with not knowing why they were sent away from harms way. It was a very telling and moving story. I would recommend it to others to read.
