When my book club chose this book I really was not that excited about it, but once I got started, I just couldn't stop reading it! Great book! Well written. Mystery that keeps you guessing.

Although this book was hard to keep up with due to the author jumping around a lot, it is a necessary read. This is a first hand account of the war, and seeing how it affected even the kids, was interesting. As you will read in the book, it took the author a long time to even be able to discuss the book, and I am extremely thankful that she decided to do so.
