PersuasionJane Austen is a delightful writer. Densely packed sentences, perceptive insight into human behavior, no mercy for arrogant poseurs or malingerers, and masterful teller of love stories. A good look at the privileges and restrictions of her age. Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, and Emma are her best.
