My Reviews
The Man Who Loved Books Too Much: The True Story of a Thief, a Detective, and a World of Literary Obsession by Allison Hoover Bartlett
Informative, Boring, Slow
The Book ThiefThe concept was intriguing but the writing was uneven and rather boring at times. A smoother narrative flow would have helped a lot. I was disappointed overall and only finished it because it was our book club selection. We had a good discussion on the concepts and questions in spite of the book's writing.

Informative, Interesting, Adventurous
On Folly BeachAn intriguing view in flahbacks to WWII in America, set in the context of a modern day woman's struggle to get her life back on track. It is a mystery, a romance and a bit of little known US history all in one. A good read.
