My Reviews
I liked the main characters courage of leavinig her whole life to do something she truly believed in. And the passion she shows in what she does. The sad understandings she must come to when she realizes how different the culture she enters is. And the fact that she let's feelings out in the end that are frowned upon in that culture but by doing so she hopes she can help at least her lust interest see there is more to this world and he is not wrong in seeing or believeing that.
I'm not quite finished but I can't wait to see what happens with Ayla. I sometimes get mad because the women are treated very unfairly ,but have read enough of the American Indians too know it is an accurate discription of there lives. I like the adventure and the explanations of there rituals and get rivetted when the men must make life or death desisions because they base all those on the spirits and what there spirit guide The Mogur tells them is what there spirits tell them. I only have one leading guide God but it's the same idea to just have to trust they what there Mogur hears is where they should head.
I really enjoyed this book , I loved the writing , and loved the ending!!!
