The Swallows of Kabul by Yasmina Khadra
Unconvincing, Difficult, Gloomy
The Swallows of KabulIn some ways we felt we learned alot about life under the Taliban, however we were not sure that we were getting a true picture. It was definately eye-opening. It served to fuel our dislike for Islam. Particulary in regards to the plight of women. It reminded us how Satan rules in the world and uses Islam as a way of spreading lies, keeping people in spiritual and physical bondage.
