My Reviews
Saving CeeCee Honeycutt is a quick and easy read. The book addresses several heavy topics...death, racism, mental illness, but approaches them with a light touch and doesn't linger there. Several very funny scenes - recommended.
Interesting point of view.
This book was a great book club pick as it has so many potential conversation points. Very respectful, thoughtful book written from the perspective of of a terminally ill woman, but interestingly enough - not really a sad read.
A great book for book clubs to use to explore the concept of motherhood, love, secrets, racism etc.
Gritty book about circus life during the Depression and getting older.
Reminds me of other stories I have recently read...The Help and Saving CeeCee Honeycutt. Just as good.
I very much enjoyed the three part saga. Recommended!
This book continues with the love story of Liz and Felipe from 'Eat, Pray, Love'. As in EPL, Liz delves deeply into the subject of the day - in this case her upcoming marriage. I enjoyed both the history and the humor contained in the book and look forward to her next work.
