Loved "Eat, Pray, Love"

I couldn't put it down! Her language, choice of words, paint a picture so real I felt as if I were with her!

The Help

Took a while to get used to the southern dialect but the story really held my interest. Good mix of historical and mystery.

Informative, Interesting, Gloomy
Left us hanging

The endings to these separate stories left us wondering what was going to happen next. The stories all took place on the Ft Hood base but were not interconnected. It did make for good discussion in our club though.

I will always find your light, Halo

Our hearts went out to Halo when her first and only love left her pregnant , to raise their child alone. Her "cooincidental" meeting with Ryder and her comfort level with him was a give a way that there was a deeper connection. Most of us had difficulty believing Halo wouldn't have recognized intimate details in Ryder. And we felt the sex was rather explicit (we're all middle aged or older), but the story was sweet.
