My Reviews
Enemy Women: A Novel by Paulette Jiles
Book Club Recommended
Informative, Dramatic, Adventurous
Enemy WomenI really liked the book because I grew-up in St. Louis and traveled throughout Missouri so the historical information in the book were great. I enjoyed reading the historical letters and military memos concerning the civil war and I felt the fictional chara. in the story enhanced the history. The people in the club who enjoyed the book were those who enjoy history.
The Witches of Eastwick by John Updike
Slow, Boring
The Witches of EastwickI just could not get into this book and I was so excited to try a book by John Updike. I found the vocabulary the only thing interesting because I could not get excited about the character.
