My Reviews
This book was an eye opener as to the extent of the horror of the holocaust. It stirred deep emotions and really made a connection with the reader. I was disappointed with the ending and hoped for a better wrap up than what the author provided.
This book was hard to put down. The characters were well thought out and it was easy to connect with each one. The author did a great job providing a good storyline within the historical context of the time. Truly a great read!
Our book club had a lengthy discussion about this book. There were so many different viewpoints and favorite passages. Would highly recommend to others.

Would highly recommend this book to anyone. It was hard to put down.
The writer did a great job with the language and description of that time in history. Very interesting book, would recommend to other clubs.
The first chapter or so was overwhelming and hard to get through, but once you get past that the book takes off.
This book gave such great insight into our nation's history. It was so refreshing to re-learn american history written this way. The authors really did their research and have included footnotes throughout. Great book for discussion.
