Spring's Return by Carolyn Tyree Feagans

Poorly Written, Boring, Confusing
Spring's Return

Our group also read the first book The Dogwood are Blooming by this author and Spring's Return is the sequel. Ms Feagans writes inspirational, historical, Christian-based novels. We felt she uses her message to tell her stories instead of the story delivering her message. Over-descriptive, jumps in time occur between paragraphs in chapters. I don't believe there was much research done before writing these two stories; we noted some mistakes in each book. I believe these two stories would be of interest to people living in the areas she writes about-south-central VA-Lynchburg, Blue Ridge Parkway, and those interested in simple, Christian-based, stories. Other books by this author have been researched more before writing and include topics such as the Monacan's, the building of the Blue Ridge Parkway, andcreation of the Shenandoah National Park.
