Although this book is historical fiction, it is obvious that the author did his research. It is so beautifully written that you don't even realize you have gotten a class in Cornish history by the end of the book. The characters are very well developed making you feel like you know each one of them. It is a book that you don't want to end because you want to find out what happens next. Hoping for a sequel.
